Active Directory handles access to Windows infrastructure. IAM adds single sign-on for web applications, a second factor and a shared sign-in log. Staff sign in with their current accounts.
Any application that supports OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 or SAML 2.0, with no changes. Systems without these protocols connect through a reverse proxy.
Users, roles and settings export to JSON through a standard API. The platform is open, so you can keep running it yourselves.
